Finally getting some days when the work of winter can be varnished outside. Quite a process -- 3 coats of UV varnish with no streaks or bubbles if all goes well.

My studio has gotten out of control lately so I am having to purge, shuffle, and rework the space. Nobody is around but me this weekend so the organizational process is flowing out into the hallway! I do have a plan of attack though, a map of sorts. Hopefully I will surface again soon...

I left a blank spot at the bottom of my business cards, thinking I'd add a small photo of recent work, but instead I've been doing little collages on them. Here's a photo of a finished batch, done while hanging out at my dad's house yesterday. I suppose this production method will eventually prove unrealistic but for now people seem to find them charming and unusual.
iPhone Portfolio

My iPhone has become a great way to carry a miniature version of my portfolio... with the added advantage of almost always being close at hand. Now when I get a quizzical look as I'm describing my work, I can pull out the iPhone and show some examples. Such a great tool! And I am able to post from the phone which should help me write from remote locations too... seems to be working.
